We’re not getting out of our digital Babylon. So the only question left is how we live in it.
In the fourth and final message of our Screen Slaver series, we look at Jeremiah 29:1–14 — a letter God wrote to His exiled people, still living in Babylon with no promise of when they’d leave. From it, four truths for living well for God inside our own digital Babylon:
- You don’t have to wait for your circumstances to change before you start building a faithful life.
- You can’t leave your digital Babylon, but you can leave it better than you found it.
- Not every voice that sounds like hope is speaking for God.
- You don’t have to be certain of the date to keep seeking the One who set it.
Whatever your Babylon looks like — a feed you can’t put down, a voice you’ve been chasing, an answer that hasn’t come — God already told you where you stand.
