At Bridge Fellowship Church, we want to connect you to God in a Christ-exalting, life-altering way. But getting plugged into a new church can be intimidating. Here are five steps you can take to explore BFC.
If you’ve attended BFC at least 3 times, you can check out a program we have called Foundations. Foundations is a two-hour class designed to help you learn who we are, what we believe, and why we do what we do. You’ll hear the story and mission of Bridge Fellowship Church, meet others who are exploring as well, and ask any questions you may have. A meal is provided, and childcare is available upon request.
Join us on the first Sunday of each month after service.
After attending Foundations, you’re welcome to attend Rooted. Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience centered around building meaningful relationships and growing deeper in your walk with Jesus. Together, we explore what it means to Witness Jesus, Worship Jesus, Walk With Jesus, and Work for Jesus. Rooted is where faith becomes lived, shared, and strengthened in community.
Learn more or sign up for our next Rooted Group.
After Foundations and Rooted, if you’ve made a decision to make Bridge Fellowship Church your home, you’re on your way to becoming a member. To become a member you will need to:
Create a Membership Profile
Complete the Shape Assessment
Complete a Background Check
Complete a Membership Interview
The Membership Profile helps us get to know you—your story, your background, and what led you to BFC. It also lets us learn how you’d like to grow and get connected so we can support you well.
The SHAPE Assessment is a short tool that helps identify your Spiritual gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. It helps you discover how God uniquely designed you and how you can serve and find community in the church.
We run a background check to ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone in our church—especially children and vulnerable individuals. It’s a standard step for all members and volunteers and is kept completely confidential.
The Membership Interview is a relaxed conversation with a pastor or leader. It’s an opportunity to share your faith story, ask questions, and talk about your next steps at BFC. Think of it as a chance to connect—not a test.
Once you’ve gone through the Membership Application and have become a member of BFC, you will receive a certificate, a gift, and we will present you to the church.
Now that you are a member, your Walk With Jesus doesn’t stop there. Now you have other opportunities to continue Walking With Jesus with groups like Bridge Groups and NextGen Bible Lab, where you can continue your spiritual growth journey.
Once you’ve come to a level of spiritual growth and maturity, you’ll have opportunities to Work For Jesus, whether it’s working with Bridge Kids, database management, production for worship, and many more.
