Honest Answers to the Questions You’re Actually Asking
If you’re here, you’re probably searching for an answer to something specific. Maybe it’s anxiety. Maybe it’s suffering. Maybe you’re wondering if God even cares.
Fair questions. All of them. And the Bible doesn’t dodge them.
Below, we’ve gathered honest, Scripture-based answers to the questions people in our community ask most often. These aren’t opinion pieces—they’re rooted in what God’s Word actually says.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT ANXIETY?
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6–7).
The Bible doesn’t shame you for being anxious. It redirects you. God’s solution isn’t “just stop worrying.” It’s “bring it to Me.” Prayer isn’t a magic fix—it’s a relationship with the God who holds everything together. And that relationship produces a peace the world can’t explain.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT SUFFERING?
“In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Jesus didn’t promise a pain-free life. He promised His presence in the pain. The Bible is brutally honest about suffering—read Job, the Psalms, or Lamentations. But it’s equally clear that suffering isn’t meaningless. God uses it to refine us (Romans 5:3–5), draw us closer (2 Corinthians 12:9), and ultimately redeem every broken thing (Revelation 21:4).
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT PURPOSE?
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
You’re not an accident. You were made on purpose, with a purpose. The Bible says God designed specific good works for you before you were born. The question isn’t whether you have a purpose—it’s whether you’re walking in it.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT FORGIVENESS?
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
God’s forgiveness isn’t earned. It’s received. No matter what you’ve done, the cross of Jesus Christ is sufficient. Forgiveness is available right now—not because you deserve it, but because He does.
DOES GOD LOVE ME?
“But God shows his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Yes. Not because you’re good. Not because you’ve earned it. Because that’s who He is. And He proved it by sending Jesus to die for you while you were running the other direction.
