BRIDGE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH RALEIGH
WE’RE ABOUT GLORIFYING GOD BY BRIDGING PEOPLE TO HIM THROUGH THE GOSPEL AND GROWING HEALTHY DISCIPLES.
This message delves into the last hours of Jesus’ life, focusing on the concept of ‘justifiable denial.’ We explore Mark’s Gospel, examining how various individuals – Judas, the Sanhedrin, Peter, and Pilate – all wrestled with denying Jesus for their own self-preservation. The sermon challenges us to consider where we might be vulnerable to justifiable denial in our own lives. It reminds us that, like Jesus, we may encounter those with ulterior motives, but we shouldn’t let fear prevent us from sharing the gospel.
We’re encouraged to maintain our doctrinal stance against those who try to undermine our faith, knowing who we are in Christ and depending more on God than ourselves.
