BRIDGE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH
OUR STORY
How It All Started
In the heart of every person is a longing for something more than this world has to offer. We try to fill this void with relationships, pleasure, possessions, and success – all of which ultimately leave us feeling empty and craving more. God’s word says the only solution for this eternal longing is found in living out our created purpose by glorifying God and walking in transformative relationship with Him.
We call ourselves Bridge Fellowship Church because we desire for all people, of all ages, cultures and backgrounds to connect with God in a life-transforming way. Everything we do as a church is about the person, work, and word of Jesus Christ.
And when we look vertically, our impact becomes horizontal – our relationships, our zeal for evangelism, our passion for preaching, our adoration of God in word and song, our purpose in life – begin to align with that purpose and the joy we’ve been longing for. When a church truly pursues God’s glory as its central passion, everything else falls into place. It’s not about what we want, not about what’s easy to say, and not about what feels good. Our prayer and hope is that Bridge Fellowship Church will always be a place for people who want to give themselves to the pursuit of God’s glory above anything else.
Vertical Focus. Horizontal Impact.
Why Raleigh?
Raleigh, with a population of 609,041 people, continues to grow by 62 per day. Raleigh is a growing city of people from all nationalities; the top four ethnicities are White, Black, Hispanic, and Native American. Economic development is thriving here, with significant job centers fulfilling personal and professional needs. Although Raleigh is an idyllic city to work and start a family, less than 23% of our population attend religious service, and even fewer practice the Christian faith. That being said, Raleigh is a vast mission field that only continues to grow; we need more churches like Bridge Fellowship Church committed to fulling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
We invite you to partner with us working to make new disciples of Jesus Christ in Raleigh.
Expanding the Vision
WE’RE ABOUT GLORIFYING GOD BY BRIDGING PEOPLE TO HIM THROUGH THE GOSPEL AND GROWING HEALTHY DISCIPLES.
Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
